I get that. I asked because Andrea Corbellini had mentioned the latest updates while changing the importance of Hardy, so, I'm not sure, I thought he was talking about the latest Hardy updates. If (he could confirm and) you could test it on Hardy, and it works there, then maybe we could see about a possible backport to fix this? Also, maybe it was declined because we'd need to release a new kernel package and that wouldn't be possible for this?
