No, the rationale in that bug certainly doesn't apply here. That package doesn't appear to be related to ROS!
Looking at the changelog, I'm guessing that it's FTBFS in the release pocket, and has been ever since the ROS ecosystem has been removed from Ubuntu. Now, either we remove the package entirely or we bring back catkin in the archive. Removing the package would mean removing opencpn along (no further rdeps), or the catkin thing. I'm pulling in Mirko (OP of the previous bug) to see if they see any issue with the latter approach. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2099760 Title: [RM] Please remove from proposed, depwait To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcxx-serial/+bug/2099760/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
