Public bug reported:

I'm upgrading my system from 22.04 using do-release-upgrade. I expected
to be able to update my Kubuntu system with the upgrader.

The process fails at this stage:

"An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade. "

"The package 'kubuntu-desktop' is marked for removal but it is in the 
removal deny list."

I don't know how to resolve this and would greatly appreciate some help.
