Built a new image (Note the snippet from build):

cloudimg.image.qemu.cloudimg: Preparing to unpack

Imported image into MAAS:

$ maas ${PROFILE} boot-resources create name='custom/focal-cloud-
lp2100963b' base_image='ubuntu/focal' title='Focal LP2100963b'
architecture='amd64/generic' filetype='tgz' content@=custom-
cloudimg.tar.gz

Deployed and confirmed machine name and SSH works correctly:

$ ssh ubuntu@small-8.alannet
