Public bug reported: Since upgrading to 24.04.2 LTS release 24.04, I have noticed worsening performance for file I/O. No hardware defects are reported. No crazy system messages. Rsync is much slower than before, to the point of not being useful at all. Same for cp, mv, and graphical operations using Nautilus. htop shows that CPU and memory are barely being used
