Just reproduced on 6.11.0-19. Some additional details: - Both with `splash` and without, at first the screen is bright and the input is registered just fine - Also in both cases, after a couple of seconds the screen becomes momentarily black, and the old content is now displayed dimmed
Now, the behavior or `splash` is different from no-`splash`. Apart from keyboard input in the text field not being registered at all, the layout indicator that was previously showing "US" now shows nothing. But Ctrl+Alt+Del still works. When there's no `splash`, the input is possible but after the black screen flash the input starts at an earlier position, mangling the prompt a bit. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091864 Title: Cannot enter luks password at boot after kernel 6.8.0-50 upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
