Public bug reported:
I was looking at dmesg output trying to figure out a separate problem and I keep seeing segfault messages from sd-resolve. Some Googling turned up that systemd-timesyncd is the service that starts sd-resolve. Restarting systemd-timesyncd showed this to be the case, as syslog showed the segfault messages as well. systemd-timesyncd does not run. I didn't save the output from dmesg. Sorry. This is the output from journalctl -u systemd-timesyncd: ar 07 14:19:02 [redacted] systemd[1]: systemd-timesyncd.service: Main process exited, code=dumped, status=11/SEGV Mar 07 14:19:02 [redacted] systemd[1]: systemd-timesyncd.service: Failed with result 'core-dump'.
