This happened again yesterday and today. I've attached the redacted journal from yesterday, but I don't spot any new info in it.
I can see crashes from other programs last month in /var/crash but this crash didn't generate anything, nor did it trigger whoopsie. I suspect the bug is in JavaScript code of the Ubuntu Dash plugin and it does not actually crash Gnome Shell, just results it in exiting and logging out the user. ** Attachment added: "journal-2025-03-05.txt.xz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2098547/+attachment/5862950/+files/journal-2025-03-05.txt.xz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2098547 Title: gnome-shell crashes and logs out when disconnecting USB-C cable and Ubuntu Dash is enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2098547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
