With regards to testing: The Ceph team is now using a monorepo hosted in github. This repository has been used to run the tests for every Ceph charm using a PPA with this version (17.2.8) of Ceph being used. The results can be seen here: https://github.com/canonical/ceph- charms/pull/38/checks
