I changed in /etc/default/locale and /etc/environment according to the following:
$ cat /etc/default/locale LANG="en_DK.UTF-8" $ cat /etc/environment | grep LANG LANG="en_DK.UTF-8" LANGUAGE="en_DK.UTF-8" This seems to have solved all my problems. My previous locale was 'en_US.UTF-8' before I changed anything in .gnomerc. So what this boils down to is that just because I want to have everything in English I got the wrong locale on my initial install and that caused my printing problems. -- Printing on my HP4650 always chooses wrong format and tray https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173949 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
