The printer doesn't work in 22.04 or 24.04 either, but I found a workaround for 24.04, which is to install printer-driver-gutenprint and lib32stdc++6. In hindsight, I should maybe have guessed that because the printer is fairly old, it would need a 32-bit library that's no longer installed by default. Troubleshooting would've been a lot faster if any of the error messages had given the names of the missing packages.
I assume the same workaround would work on 20.04 and 22.04. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1920619 Title: Epson Stylus SX535WD does not print in Ubuntu 20.04 or later To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1920619/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
