The test plan for this SRU is quite vague, and in particular doesn't address this concern from "where things could go wrong" (also vague):
the places and types of problems that could occur are numerous I appreciate that you did what you could with the verification, but I have to ask the Kubuntu flavor for confirmation that you are happy with this level of verification, given the risk. Also keep in mind that once this is in 24.04.2, it's in an image, and it's what users will get by default even before they can apply updates. I haven't checked yet if there are even autopkgtests for these packages (will do in a moment). All of that being said, are you: - ok with this level of testing? - ok to have this in 24.04.2? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093184 Title: [SRU] tracking bug for plasma LTS 5.27.12 bugfix updates for Noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/breeze/+bug/2093184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
