Hi Matthew - we tried using your qemu updates, and unfortunately the test failed (crashed).
A bit more information: our reproducer is running in a GitHub Actions context. We added your custom qemu package to our base VM image and then ran our test. (There is an implicit reboot in that process.) However, it isn't clear to us whether it was truly *using* your package. The reason it is unclear is that we are using https://github.com/docker/setup- buildx-action to run our test. In the past, we never had to specifically install qemu in our VM, so it's possible that setup-buildx-action is either a) only installing qemu if not previously installed, or b) always installing their own version of qemu. If it is a), then our test would be a valid test of your custom package, but if it is b), then we don't actually have a good way to test your custom qemu package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2096782 Title: Change in 22.04 kernel causes QEMU crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/2096782/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
