I think I'm seeing the same issue, but on Ubuntu 24.04 with 2.0.5-1build1 (currently the latest version).
I've inspected the dpkg error messages and found the following: ``` Resolving ftp.wwpdb.org (ftp.wwpdb.org)... failed: Name or service not known. wget: unable to resolve host address ‘ftp.wwpdb.org’ dpkg: error processing package libcifpp-data (--configure): installed libcifpp-data package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 4 ``` It looks like the post-installation script is trying to fetch some data from an FTP service at ftp.wwpdb.org I've done a bit of DNS querying, but I can't resolve this hostname using any public DNS servers. Either the site is temporarily down, or it has been retired by the service owner. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089129 Title: package libcifpp-data 2.0.5-1build1 failed to install/upgrade: installed libcifpp-data package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcifpp/+bug/2089129/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
