I added three patches which were mentioned in the upstream bug report to Ubuntu package, and uploaded the new version to Ubuntu 25.04 (current development release). It should be published soon and it will mark the bug as Fix Released.
Regarding stable release updates (for 24.04 LTS and 24.10): to make them possible, we need to update the bug description according to this template: https://canonical-sru-docs.readthedocs- hosted.com/en/latest/reference/bug-template/. Can someone please do that, or at least describe the test case: what are you doing and in what order to make the crash happen? Waiting for a few hours/days can be part of the scenario, but it needs to be documented. Also, I will need your help with testing the proposed updates when they are available. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2065048 Title: gnome-flashback randomly crash while unlock screen dialog on ubuntu 24.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-flashback/+bug/2065048/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
