I've found latest 4.3 version backported to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS at https://launchpad.net/~elkartenet/+archive/txikilinux - just add this repo:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elkartenet/txikilinux ** Tags added: jammy ** Description changed: GCompris released a new version in March: https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-announce-apps/2023-April/005742.html, - is it possible to update the version at least in Ubuntu 22.10 and above - (it would be good to also have it in the 22.04 but I'm not sure how much - the effort is)? + is it possible to backport for the 22.04? There are new dependencies that are needed at runtime (https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-announce-apps/2023-April/005744.html): * qml-module-qt-labs-calendar * qml-module-qtcharts Cheers, Johnny -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2019148 Title: Please backport ver 3.2 or newer for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcompris-qt/+bug/2019148/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
