Thanks Juerg!  Any idea when 6.11 HWE might come out?  And would that
have been tested to work with 24.04?

I've also heard that 24.04.2, out in mid-Feb., will come with kernel
6.11.

And, as alternatives, I could either install 6.11 manually (risk: might
have bugs with 24.04) or use the software provided at
https://github.com/jeremyb31/bluetooth-6.8.git (risk: the software may
have malware).

jeremyb31 says that what was necessary to get bluetooth working was to
add the USB ID from the Bluetooth device to the module table.
