I agree to Robie, if not a significant problem for anyone/anything I'm fine to have it - and by now it migrated and does not cause issues.
For the question of feature parity we need to ask someone using it more than just apt install. I assume that at least Benjamin himself is using the deb variant - if so could you outline if you've spotted any significant feature mismatch? Fallback: If Benjamin says he does not actually use it we could ask one in our team (where we use it quite often) if they'd be ok to switch to it for a while and report if they had to switch back. That would only be a spot check, but better than no check or leaving this question unanswered forever. Marking incomplete as we can't decide to remove/keep until this is answered. ** Changed in: git-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091859 Title: RM: remove git-ubuntu [source, binaries] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git-ubuntu/+bug/2091859/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
