update: on the next day the bug re-appeared again.
I ran:
$ gnome-extensions disable d...@rastersoft.com
(process stopped)
$ gnome-extensions enable d...@rastersoft.com
and it still uses 100% cpu.

May be I could attach debug messages here ? There are console.log()
strings in application, where are they written to ? How to enable
debugging, and extract logs ? I would add more console.log() calls if
you give specific points of interest, or I can substitute .js files with
already inserted console.log() lines, if you attach or send them to me.
