There is one unrelated issue I've seen. With 6.12.3-061203-generic #202412060638 I can't start Virtualbox (7.0.20) unless I first remove the kvm_intel kernel module (Virtualbox claims it can't start under KVM - or something like that).
I don't (knowingly) have anything that is using kvm, but kvm_intel (and kvm) are both loaded at boot time. I can remove both. The 6.11 (Oracular and Mainline) kernels are both OK, so it would seem to be a 6.12 thing. Should I open a new bug report for this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2088088 Title: kernel 6.11.0-9-generic crashes during early boot ~10% of the time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2088088/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
