Public bug reported: gtk4 4.17 includes a behavior change that breaks some apps. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/merge_requests/7836
An autopkgtest revealed that picplanner is broken by this change. I have reported issue upstream: https://gitlab.com/Zwarf/picplanner/-/issues/15 I recommend that we remove picplanner so that its autopkgtest failure doesn't delay GTK 4.17 from reaching plucky release since we want as much testing as possible of this new version. picplanner will need code changes to work with GTK 4.17 so it will autosync back in Ubuntu once it's fixed in Debian. ** Affects: picplanner (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: picplanner (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Tags: plucky ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #1089223 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1089223 ** Also affects: picplanner (Debian) via https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1089223 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091297 Title: Remove apps that need to be fixed for gtk4 4.17 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/picplanner/+bug/2091297/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
