Public bug reported:
Booting gets as far as prompting for username and password but goes no
further. Incorrect username and password are detected. When correct
username and password are supplied, the computer hangs and will not
respond to keyboard or mouse.
However, one can enter debug mode and select "resume boot". The computer
then boots correctly and responds correctly to supplied username and
password.
Problem appeared after last major upgrade. Other minor upgrades have not
helped fix problem.
No LSB modules are available.
