FWIW, this also applies to 24.04.1. I don't remember the details, but I think that at least one of the status tray instrumentations provides a mechanism for hiding select icons, so this can be fixable easily. (On the other hand, it's also mostly a nuisance, since both icons provide the same menu / options.)
