I have an HP officejet 4255 all-in-one machine, it works just perfectly
using HPLIP on Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10, but on Ubuntu 8.04 it does not work
properly.
The machine is properly detected and installed and no errors are
received during the install, but after the install, HPLIP shows the
printer to be disconnected even though I do know that it is indeed
connected properly. A reboot of the system does not fix the issue, I
even installed the printer by specifying the location but it still
didn't work.
