Tested the proposed build by downloading binaries from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/1:5.0.3-2ubuntu7.1 and installing them on my machine running Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS (Noble).
Tested using the test plan I originally provided in the initial bug report. [Test] sudo lxc-execute -n lxc-test-1 -f lxc.conf -l TRACE -- ls /usr [Result] fd full null ptmx pts random stderr stdin stdout tty urandom zero The command now produces the correct result. I also have more complicated containers that I have created with lxc and they are now working correctly again as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081762 Title: [SRU] lxc-excecute NULL pointer dereference causes segfault when sharing rootfs with host To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lxc/+bug/2081762/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
