Tested the proposed build by downloading binaries from
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/1:5.0.3-2ubuntu7.1 and
installing them on my machine running Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS (Noble).

Tested using the test plan I originally provided in the initial bug
report.

[Test]
sudo lxc-execute -n lxc-test-1 -f lxc.conf -l TRACE -- ls /usr

[Result]
fd full null ptmx pts random stderr stdin stdout tty urandom zero

The command now produces the correct result. I also have more
complicated containers that I have created with lxc and they are now
working correctly again as well.
