I'm very tempted to close this as "Won't Fix" for gbp-buildpackage as anything we do here to workaround this is almost by definition hacky and won't handle all the possible corner cases. As the package is "native" there's no good/simple regex that can be applied to determine the "upstream" version (from Ubuntu's point of view -- for Debian the version *is* the upstream version).
The "correct" fix (at least, it seems to me) is to have setup.py not parse the d/changelog to determine the version, but that's not really a decision for us to make? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083051 Title: nose, git-buildpackage FTBFS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/git-buildpackage/+bug/2083051/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
