No problem. You should be able to restore socket activation with:

# This removes the symlink to mask the generator, if needed.
$ rm -f /etc/systemd/system-generators/sshd-socket-generator
$ systemctl daemon-reload
$ systemctl disable --now ssh.service
$ systemctl enable --now ssh.socket
