Public bug reported: This bug is to track backports of linux-firmware-nvidia-tegra to jammy and noble.
[ Impact ] * To enable NVIDIA Tegra Jetson Orin devices with Ubuntu, some lib/firmware files are needed for all the hardware to work. The current official Ubuntu for Jetson image is based on jammy, and a noble one is also planned for next year. [ Test Plan ] * Install Ubuntu for Jetson Server 22.04 image * Add ubuntu-tegra/updates PPA: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-tegra/updates * Install linux-firmware-nvidia-tegra, reboot * Check if there is a WLAN interface (ie wlP1p1s0) by running ip a [ Where problems could occur ] * No problems expected as this is a new package.
