Yes -- in my case, I am trying to disable bitmap fonts in Firefox and Thunderbird so that Microsoft standard fonts like Calibri display properly. These snap applications can't pick up the change if it's made in ~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf as is the recommended procedure. I can manually add the change to ~/snap/firefox/current/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf (and the equivalent Thunderbird directory) and it works, but is reset / overwritten every time the snaps update.
