Hello @mydexterid, Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you're reporting also affects Debian, as far as I have been able to confirm:
root@Sid:~# cat /etc/os-release PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid" NAME="Debian GNU/Linux" VERSION_CODENAME=trixie ID=debian HOME_URL="https://www.debian.org/" SUPPORT_URL="https://www.debian.org/support" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.debian.org/" root@Sid:~# journalctl | grep "run/nut" Oct 14 09:04:17 Sid systemd-tmpfiles[4581]: /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-common-tmpfiles.conf:8: Duplicate line for path "/run/nut", ignoring. root@Sid:~# sudo systemd-tmpfiles --clean [...] /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/nut-common-tmpfiles.conf:8: Duplicate line for path "/run/nut", ignoring. root@Sid:~# dpkg -l nut | grep ii ii nut 2.8.1-3.3 all network UPS tools - metapackage For the most part, we take this Debian package as is (we only apply small changes in the testing part). Therefore, in order to keep our delta low, I would suggest that this would be better to fix it first in Debian (which might also be interested in it), and later we can inherit the fix in Ubuntu... Would you mind submitting this bug in Debian via bugs.debian.org?
