Some windows in Ubuntu 24 cannot be resized, and the corners show minor
corruption. The "Slack" application is a good example. See attached
screenshot. Thunderbird also has this problem.
I upgraded to Ubuntu 24 from 22. The upgrade was difficult, and I had
to perform several steps to correct it. Despite the fact that I have
nvidia-driver-560-open installed, it appears that my desktop is using
X11 instead of Wayland. I don't know how to switch to Wayland, there is
on prompt for it on the login screen.
Some applications have lost the ability to be resized. Moving the mouse
pointer over the edges/counters does not give me the option to resize.
These applications also have a weird display bug. When the top corners
are placed over the titlebar of another application, the corners are no
longer rounded.
