Public bug reported: The MacPro 7,1 desktop computer has no fan control based on the installed three fans when installing Ubuntu.
The only way to get the fans to respond and even work is using the following workaround: https://wiki.t2linux.org/guides/fan/ installing t2fanrd after enabling the t2-ubuntu-repo https://github.com/AdityaGarg8/t2-ubuntu-repo#apt-repository-for-t2-macs It appears this should be mainlined.
