Tried today with 6.8.0-44-generic with Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS on my ThinkPad T510 (Intel internal graphic only; no deicated GPU installed).
Still same as in #10. Somehow expectable as there are no big i915 changes as of the log, and the assumption that the current state of code in 6.8 is cause the reprted behavior.
