I tried installing from the Hardy Heron Alpha2 live cd. All is ok but one thing
will bite a lot of first time users.
After you press next on step 4 of 7 of the installer (the keyboard
layout) a dialog appears showing the progression of the disk scanning.
This goes to completion, disappears and then the system seems to hang.
In my case it hangs for about 4 to 5 minutes without any indication of
progression. On the first try I aborted. When you wait long enough you
get through properly.
Since it's known when step 5 of 7 appears on screen it would be nice to
have some indication that the system is not hanging after the scanning
of the disks.
