Turning Preferences > caret browsing ON and OFF solves the problem. This solution works permanently even after restarting Yelp. It looks like caret browsing was activated by default but the state of the tick box of the Preferences window is displayed incorrect.
So this bug should be: when activating caret browsing in Preferences window of Yelp, the tick box shows an incorrect state after restarting Yelp. ** Changed in: yelp (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed -- [Edgy] Please hide the cursor https://launchpad.net/bugs/59625 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
