Bumping this -- I use Databricks, and Databricks' latest release major
version ( https://docs.databricks.com/en/release-
notes/runtime/15.4lts.html#system-environment ) uses Ubuntu 22.04LTS
which is based on this:

> Thanks for raising this up. We mostly only install the Python
supported by Ubuntu. In this case, Ubuntu 22 officially supports
3.11.0rc1: https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy-updates/python3.11

so locked python environments fail version constraint checks now, eg,

> markers 'python_full_version >= "3.8.10" and python_version < "3.12"'
don't match your environment

There was even a second release candidate:
https://peps.python.org/pep-0664/, and the final bugfix release for the
3.11 family was 3.11.9 .
