hmm, yes, lubuntu-installer-prompt (and kubuntu-installer-prompt) do not support hidden-SSID WiFi networks. The intention was that for those kinds of advanced network things, one would drop to a live session with the "Try" button, allowing them to use NetworkManager's full feature set.
That being said, perhaps hidden-SSID networks aren't *that* advanced. I don't think adding support for them is something we should add to Noble, and it arguably will require a FFe in Oracular, but it's not a bad idea. ** Also affects: lubuntu-installer-prompt (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: lubuntu-installer-prompt (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: lubuntu-installer-prompt (Ubuntu Noble) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: lubuntu-installer-prompt (Ubuntu Oracular) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: lubuntu-installer-prompt (Ubuntu Oracular) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2078020 Title: lubuntu 24.04.1 RC install ; unable to complete testcase To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lubuntu-installer-prompt/+bug/2078020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
