Public bug reported: ---Issue---
Icon theme is switching to the icon theme that was applied before on switching to light mode and vice a versa. Icon theme I used before: Yaru-red Icon theme I am using now and having issues with: Win11-blue (https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1546069) Icon theme is working fine. But when I switch to 'light mode' the icon theme is setting to 'Yaru-red' on its own. There is no change when switching back to dark mode. ---OS details--- OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS x86_64 Kernel: 6.8.0-39-generic Shell: bash 5.2.21 DE: GNOME 46.0 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04 Package: gnome-shell 46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.8.0-39.39-generic 6.8.8 Uname: Linux 6.8.0-39-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.28.1-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Sat Aug 24 23:36:46 2024 DisplayManager: gdm3 InstallationDate: Installed on 2024-07-26 (29 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Release amd64 (20240424) RelatedPackageVersions: mutter-common 46.2-1ubuntu0.24.04.1 SourcePackage: gnome-shell UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2077804 Title: Icon theme is switching to the icon theme that was applied before on switching to light mode and vice a versa To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2077804/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
