Public bug reported:

In the partitioning menu of the installer, if “Use as boot device” and
“Add as another boot device” is selected (ultimate goal is RAID1) then a
UEFI partition is created - no option to make it BIOS-GRUB (even for
disks smaller than 2TB). On some hardware platforms the install will
complete but, upon reboot, ends up at the grub-rescue prompt. I ended
up installing Ubuntu 16.04 with RAID1 then using do-release-upgrade to
get to Ubuntu 22.04.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
