Public bug reported:

I tried to build an Ubuntu 24.10 container for autopkgtests on a
Raspberry Pi running Ubuntu 24.04.

$ autopkgtest-build-lxd ubuntu-daily:oracular/armhf
Creating autopkgtest-prepare-1Oy
Starting autopkgtest-prepare-1Oy
Created symlink '/etc/systemd/system/serial-getty@getty.service' → '/dev/null'.
Issuing reboot (current boot id: b29bde2c-8872-4b48-9c18-ec4309f36da2
Reboot successful (current boot id: 14ac0118-8689-4035-8732-08df1ea34d87)
Timed out waiting for container to boot

For Ubuntu 24.10 this works fine:
$autopkgtest-build-lxd ubuntu-daily:noble/armhf
