Public bug reported: On a RISC-V system I was installing ubuntu-dev-tools which as dependency pulls in pbuilder.
pbuilder does not automatically detect the location of the archive (http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports). Instead a message is shown: Please enter the default mirror you want to be used by pbuilder. If you leave this field blank, there will be one attempt to autodetect this information. If this attempt fails, you will be prompted again to insert some valid mirror information.Here is a valid mirror example: http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu Default mirror site: The reason seems to be that we have moved that information form /etc/apt/sources.list to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu-sources without updating the pbuilder source accordingly.
