VirtualBox is version installed from Ubuntu repo: virtualbox/jammy-updates,now 6.1.50-dfsg-1~ubuntu1.22.04.1 amd64 [installed] Problem with no longer being able to start any guest OS in VirtualBox first appeared after system update to kernel package: linux-image-5.15.0-116-generic/jammy-updates,jammy-security,now 5.15.0-116.126 amd64 [installed,automatic] Choosing to boot using previous kernel package allows VirtualBox to start guest OSs again without issue.
