which is related to your old ~/.config/monitors.xml that mentions: <monitor> <monitorspec> <connector>None-1</connector> <vendor>unknown</vendor> <product>unknown</product> <serial>unknown</serial> </monitorspec> <mode> <width>1024</width> <height>768</height> <rate>59.999</rate> </mode> </monitor> I don't know what a "None-1" connector is. Certainly a reinstall (or just deleting ~/.config/monitors.xml) might solve that.
