And here is a diff of the dmesg's between 6.8.8 and 6.10.0-rc4 that just
has the PCI differences.

the per cpu allocations are different because of a different memory
layout (due to different kernel image sizes).

the telling thing however may be the PCI extended access showing in
6.8.8, but i don't know enough about the PCI arbitration / access
process to know if it is significant or not.
