Hello Gustavo and thanks for submitting this report! Glad to hear you're trying Ubuntu for your project.
The warnings you've seen: Warning: The unit file, source configuration file or drop-ins of apt-news.service changed on disk. Run 'systemctl daemon-reload' to reload units. Warning: The unit file, source configuration file or drop-ins of esm-cache.service changed on disk. Run 'systemctl daemon-reload' to reload units. They have not prevented anything from being installed. They are harmless. We also already have a separate bug tracking the fix to remove them: bug 2055239 The output of `apt upgrade` says: build-essential is already the newest version (12.10ubuntu1). libssl-dev is already the newest version (3.0.13-0ubuntu3.1). uuid-dev is already the newest version (2.39.3-9ubuntu6). libgpgme-dev is already the newest version (1.18.0-4.1ubuntu4). squashfs-tools is already the newest version (1:4.6.1-1build1). so it seems all of the dependencies are already installed on your system and you can continue with your installation process. I hope it continues smoothly. Since the warnings are tracked in a different bug and the libraries seem to have been installed successfully, I'll mark this bug as "Invalid". ** Changed in: ubuntu-advantage-tools (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072339 Title: Can not isntalla singularity becouse: Warning: The unit file, source configuration file or drop-ins of apt-news.service changed on disk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-advantage-tools/+bug/2072339/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
