Public bug reported: The problem affects only files that are read-only, and that have no title tag defined. Steps to reproduce: 1. highlight such a file 2. select the "Edit Tag 'Title'" item from the context (pop-up) menu 3. press Enter, thereby accepting the change to the name -- even if there was none 4. a pop-up appears, telling that the tag cannot be changed. Up till now, everything is normal 5. the Title column of the file in the song list becomes empty
The title is not forgotten; if the file is started, it will appear in the big popup, or in the small popup, that appears if the mouse is moved over the icon in the notification area on the tray. However, it will remain empty in the song list. I am running Kubuntu Gutsy. Amarok is version 2:1.4.7-0ubuntu3. ** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Trying to change the title of read-only file makes the title disappear (empty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/180369 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
