Hello, The terminal logs suggest that the failure was due to not being able to install the 'firefox' and 'gnome-42-2204' snaps, but unfortunately I don't have any ideas as to why this may have happened.
Is there perhaps anything unusual about your system setup, for example home an unusual networking setup or lacking IPv4 connectivity? Can you try manually installing the Firefox snap using 'sudo snap install firefox' and see if it works this time around? Also, are you able to reproduce the issue? If so, could you please provide steps so I could try reproducing it on my end? Thanks. ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2070136 Title: package firefox 111.0+build2-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: new firefox package pre-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/2070136/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
