I agree. I think we may have a case to do libspf2 inclusion, I'll be happy to start investigating that package and situation a bit deeper next week.
For now, the default SPF code in mantic/noble is broken out of the box and I'm not sure which solution (calling bash, removing the quote macro) I like better.
