Nota-se que vc instalou o Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, uma versão de fa 4 anos. É recomendável que instale a versão atual (i.e. o Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).
Além disso, não vejo aqui nada que descreva um falho no software de Ubuntu.
