I will need some help with this as the LCD often (although not always)
turns off before the kernel panics. I can tell it panics by the
blinking caps lock key. Is there any way to disable the premature
turning off of the LCD so that I can submit a fuller bug report? I
assume it is done by the hibernation script, as "echo 4 >
/proc/acpi/sleep" doesn't turn off the LCD until the system goes off.
(Incidentally, initial testing of the manual echo command seem to
indicate that it is not affected by this kernel panic; presumably
something in the hibernate script is triggering this.)
Thanks.
